Classical Conversations Cycle 3 – Week 02 Lesson introduces students to the unique properties of water and the mechanics of vision through clear instruction and hands-on experimentation. In this lesson, students create two simple magnifying lenses using water and discover why water can bend light in this way. Then they explore how two parts of the eye—the cornea and the lens—work together to help us see objects both near and far, using the Classical Conversations Cycle 3 curriculum.
