Plain Biology Dissection Specimen Bundle for Homeschool & Classroom Labs
This biology dissection specimen bundle contains the four required specimens for Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Biology and Berean Builders’ Discovering Design with Biology, making it a convenient and reliable option for homeschool families and classroom instructors. This curated set allows students to study both vertebrate and invertebrate organisms while practicing hands-on biology dissection skills across multiple body systems. Each specimen is individually vacuum-bagged to prevent drying and ensure clear visibility of anatomical structures throughout the course.
Biology Dissection Bundle Contents:
-
One grass frog (3–4 inches body length, double-injected)
-
One crayfish (4–6 inches, plain)

This specimen bundle supports instruction in vertebrate and invertebrate anatomy, organ system identification, and comparative biology, making it well suited for homeschool biology programs and middle to high school science courses. All specimens are prepared for hands-on classroom dissection and packaged individually for ease of use and storage. This bundle includes specimens only; the dissection pan and dissection tool set are not included.
Did You Know? Studying multiple organisms in one course helps students recognize patterns in body systems, such as digestion and circulation, while also highlighting how structure relates to function across different types of animals.
Store specimens in an area of room temperature away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze or expose to high temperatures (more than 85ºF). Specimens will last up to 12 months when left unopened. After opening, the specimen should be placed in a zip-top bag and may be kept for up to one month.
