Classical Conversations Cycle 2 – Week 01 Lesson: Made in the Shade & Round We Go introduces students to measurement and observation skills through clear instruction and hands-on practice. In this lesson, students compare thermometer readings in sunny versus shaded areas and learn why meteorologists use shaded temperatures to report daily weather. Then students simulate and observe differences in satellites based on orbital position using the Classical Conversations Cycle 2 curriculum.
